Partner terms

Last updated 19 August 2026. These terms apply between Homeply (company no. 14448440, registered in England and Wales) and every business that receives enquiries through the platform. They sit alongside our terms of use and privacy policy.

1. Verification

Before receiving any enquiry you must pass Homeply Verified checks for your service: company or sole-trader identity, and the registrations, qualifications, accreditations and insurance that apply to your trade. The exact checks per service are published on our Homeply Verified page. You must keep your profile, coverage and evidence accurate and tell us when anything material changes - including insurance renewals and any loss of registration or membership. We re-check evidence at its recorded expiry and at least annually, and we may suspend delivery of new enquiries while evidence is expired or a serious complaint is investigated. Supplying false or misleading evidence ends the agreement immediately.

2. Credits and payment

Enquiries are paid for with credits. One credit buys one lead in your service category, and the cash price per lead for your category is always shown before you buy. Each pack is a one-off purchase: there is no subscription and no minimum ongoing spend. Credits are valid for three months from purchase and are non-transferable. We do not currently offer automatic top-up: nothing is charged unless you buy a pack. If we introduce it, it will be optional, off by default and possible to turn off at any time. A lead is an introduction and the chance to quote; it does not guarantee work. Prices may change with notice; a change never affects credits you already hold. Referral rewards (free lead credits) are credited when a referred partner makes their first purchase and carry the same validity.

3. Leads and delivery

Leads are matched by service and postcode coverage and delivered to your dashboard, by email and, if configured, by webhook. A lead may be delivered to up to six partners; we never sell a lead to more recipients than that, and we do not rank or favour any partner for payment. You must make first contact with the homeowner within 48 hours of the lead being delivered, and only about their enquiry. We do not guarantee lead volume, exclusivity or conversion.

4. Invalid leads and disputes

A lead qualifies for a credit refund when you genuinely cannot reach the homeowner because both the phone number and the email address are incorrect or unreachable, or when the lead is a duplicate of one we already delivered to you. One working contact channel means the lead stands. Raise a dispute from the lead in your dashboard within 14 days of delivery, with a short note of what failed; we review each dispute individually and answer within 5 working days. Refunded credits are returned to your balance. Disputes are about contactability and duplication, not about whether you won the job.

5. Homeowner data

Lead details are personal data. Once delivered, you are an independent controller of that data and must handle it lawfully: use it only to respond to the enquiry, do not add the homeowner to marketing lists without their separate consent, do not share or resell it, and delete it when it is no longer needed. If we forward a deletion request under data protection law, you must action it. Misuse of homeowner data is grounds for immediate termination.

6. Reviews

Customers whose enquiry you received may review you. Reviews are moderated as described in our terms of use; you may post one public response per review and may appeal a moderation decision. Soliciting fake reviews, or incentivising customers to change reviews, is a material breach.

7. Suspension and termination

You can pause coverage or close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate for expired verification evidence, sustained complaints, misuse of data, abusive conduct or non-payment. If we close your account other than for material breach, we will refund your unused credit balance. Credits already spent on delivered leads are not refundable except through the dispute process above.

8. Liability and law

We provide the platform with reasonable skill and care but do not warrant uninterrupted availability. Our total liability under this agreement is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms with reasonable notice by email and on this page; continued use of credits after the effective date means the updated terms apply. Questions and complaints: hello@homeply.co.uk (acknowledged within 2 working days).
