Is this service really free for homeowners?
Yes - completely. You pay nothing to use Homeply and you're under no obligation to hire anyone. Professionals set their own prices and quote you directly, and no business can pay for a better position in your matches.
How are your partners verified?
Every partner passes a business identity check before they can receive a single enquiry - Companies House for limited companies, identity and trading evidence for sole traders - plus the checks required for their service: regulator or professional-body status where one exists, and insurance evidence where we require it. Everything is re-checked annually, and the exact checks per service are published on our Homeply Verified page.
Can professionals pay to appear first?
No. Matching is based on the service you need, the postcodes professionals cover and whether they are currently accepting enquiries. Professionals cannot pay for priority placement or a higher ranking.
How many quotes will I get?
You choose how many companies you'd like to hear from - up to four, five or six - and we match you with verified professionals who cover your postcode. It's a maximum, so you may hear from fewer.
Do I have to answer calls from lots of companies?
No. Only the matched professionals - at most the number you chose - receive your details, and we show you exactly who they are the moment you submit your enquiry.
Are the reviews real?
Reviews can only be left by customers who made a genuine enquiry through Homeply and were matched with that professional. We're new, so many partners won't have reviews yet - we show that honestly rather than importing ratings from elsewhere.
What happens to my personal information?
